About Visual Outdoor Advertising

Visual Outdoor Advertising, LLC was formed in late 2000 and we built our first 2 billboard structures in Union County, Georgia in May of 2001. The business grew rapidly over the next 2 years and by the end of 2003 we owned 14 billboards with 47 faces. During that time our footprint expanded westward into neighboring Fannin County, Georgia and also northward into Cherokee County, North Carolina.

In April of 2004, the company purchased the 23 billboards of Davis Outdoor Advertising which allowed us to enter new markets in Gilmer County, Georgia and Polk County, Tennessee and to strengthen our Northeast Georgia presence in Fannin County and Union County. In late 2004, we purchased a mobile billboard truck that can be leased on a short term basis in the markets we serve.

In June of 2007, we purchased Murphy Sign Company's 23 billboards in Cherokee County, North Carolina giving the company 71 total billboards with 217 faces. In Cherokee County, North Carolina, we own 36 boards with 102 faces that stretch from the western part of the county at the Tennessee line to the eastern part of the county between Murphy and Andrews.
